View your own library account information, such as your contact information, items you have checked out with their due dates, items you have requested, and fines.

Accessing My Account

  1. Click the "Home" link at the top of the page;
  2. Click on My Account located on the right side of the page;
  3. Type your library card number and your PIN in the appropriate boxes; If you don't have a PIN, press Enter. You will be prompted to enter a new PIN.

Home Library and Hold Pickup Location

Your home library is the library that you visit most frequently. When placing a hold through My Account, your home library will automatically be selected as the pickup location for your items. If you want to change the pickup location for a particular item, you can do so by going to the holds view in My Account and choosing the appropriate pickup location from the drop down box. Should you need to change your home library, log on to My Account and click on the "Modify Patron Information" button and choose the correct library from the drop down box.

Freezing Holds

You can now put your holds "on ice" if you think your item will arrive for you during a time when you will be unable to pick it up. Clicking the "Freeze Hold" box next to your soon-to-arrive items allow other holds to be filled without you losing your place in the hold queue. When you are ready, uncheck the freeze box and you will continue moving up the hold queue like normal. Remember to click the "update list" button to save any changes made to your holds list.

Reading History

Before opting in to Reading History, click the "Please read how to protect your privacy" link. If you decide to use this feature, click the Reading History button, then click the "Opt In" button. All items you check out from now on, will be in your Reading History list. To opt out of this service at any time, delete all items in your list, then click the "Opt Out" button.

Item Ratings

You can share your opinions of books and other items available from the library by using the customer ratings feature. Once you've logged on to My Account, you can rate any item from 1 to 5 by clicking on the appropriate star next to the title. A record of all items that you rated will be kept in the My Ratings section of My Account until you choose to delete them.

My Record Feed

You can get up to the minute information on important events in your account by subscribing to the My Account Feed via RSS (Really Simple Syndication). You can then subscribe to a My Record feed in any of the following ways:
  • Using the Live Bookmark feature of a browser or other RSS feed reader.
  • Manually adding a Live Bookmark to their browser or other RSS feed reader.
  • Coping the URL from the link in their record and using it to subscribe using the patron's RSS feed reader.
The system will then send you an RSS message when you have items on the holds shelf, when you have items coming due, when you have items that have gone overdue, or when a new fine is added to your account. When the RSS message about the event appears in your feed reader, click on the link and you will be prompted to log into My Account in order to see the details.
